WHAT IS A BASIC KITCHEN?
Last Updated: August 20, 2024
At Cabinetry Solution, we often refer to a "10x10 kitchen" as a baseline for pricing and design. This layout typically features an L-shape, with two walls, each measuring 10 feet in length (120" x 120"). It’s an industry standard for providing a starting point in cost estimation.
A 10x10 kitchen layout, as described above, typically excludes major appliances and windows from the design, such as a standard 36" wide refrigerator, 30" wide stove, 24" wide dishwasher, and a 36" wide window. The design does, however, include 30" high wall cabinets, bringing the total cabinet height to 84". It also features a 12" deep refrigerator cabinet and a 12" high cabinet over the range, which is ideal for an over-the-range microwave.
Pricing for a 10x10 Ready-to-Assemble (RTA) kitchen starts at around $1,499, while pre-assembled cabinets for the same layout begin at approximately $2,000. However, kitchen cabinet prices can vary based on several factors, such as the type and quantity of cabinets, the cabinetry line, design options, assembly, accessories, and installation. Please note that these prices do not include appliances or delivery costs.
RTA cabinets, which ship flat and require assembly, tend to be more affordable than pre-assembled options. We offer a variety of cabinet materials, including natural wood, as well as engineered woods like MDF, HDF, and sturdy plywood. Our wide range of styles and finishes is designed to accommodate any aesthetic and budget. Whether you're seeking exceptional value or a custom design to enhance your home,
Cabinetry Solution has the perfect option for you.
