Thank you for choosing Cabinetry Solution! We’ve put together some helpful suggestions to maintain the appearance and condition of your cabinets, ensuring your investment stays protected. Whether your cabinets are made of Wood, MDF, or Laminate/Melamine, these daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance tips are here to support you in keeping your cabinetry in excellent shape.

  DAILY AND WEEKLY MAINTENANCE:

  • It’s a good practice to address spills immediately to prevent them from drying on the surface. For routine cleaning, we recommend using a soft microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water. After wiping, use a dry cloth to remove any remaining moisture.

  • For tougher stains, consider adding a small amount of mild dish soap to your water. This can help in removing oils and grease. After cleaning, ensure the surface is thoroughly dried.

  • Pay close attention to moisture-heavy areas like the sink, dishwasher, or plumbing connections, and regularly wipe away standing water. Standing water can damage cabinetry over time.

  SUGGESTIONS FOR REMOVING STUBBORN FINGERPRINTS:

To protect your cabinets from hand oils and fingerprints, always use the cabinet hardware for opening and closing doors and drawers. If fingerprints are hard to remove, here are two suggested methods:

  • Alcohol-Based Hand Sanitizer: This may help remove light fingerprints. Apply a small amount onto a clean microfiber cloth and rub the area gently. Let it evaporate naturally.

  • Mineral Spirits: For more persistent stains, mineral spirits can be used. Apply some to a clean cloth, wipe down the surface, and allow it to evaporate. As always, test first on a less visible area and follow safety precautions such as wearing gloves and ensuring proper ventilation.

These are suggested methods to help ensure your cabinetry stays in great condition, offering you years of beauty and functionality.
